On Monday, May 21, 2018, four of the nine members of the 2018/2019 Gill-Montague Regional School Committee will be determined by the results of town elections in Montague and Gill. There are eight people running in three separate races — information about each of them, including who’s running for which seat, can be found in this article published on May 16 by the Greenfield Recorder.
Earlier this week, the Partnership assisted The Montague Reporter and Montague Community Television in producing an informational forum that seven of the eight candidates attended. (Robert Whittier sent his regrets on the afternoon of the event.) The forum was recorded and is available to view online here: https://vimeo.com/270095809. This week’s issue of The Montague Reporter includes coverage of the forum, and the program will be re-broadcast several times a day on Channel 17 before the election.
During the forum, candidates were asked “If viewers want more information about you and your candidacy, what do you suggest they do?” Afterwards, we offered to share the contact information they offered here so everything would be in one place. We also invited the candidates to share their opening and closing remarks via this page.
